Aug 24th

Contemporary king bed – A king size bed offers warm, cozy and most importantly, plenty of space. While a king size bed can make it easier to have a good night’s sleep, you can find that decorating your bed is difficult due to its unusual length and size. Fortunately, there are a number of ways you can highlight the size of your bed without sacrificing the quality of the decor.

How to decorate a contemporary king bed in a corner. Add a blanket on the floor in a vibrant color. Do not angle a blanket in the same direction as the bed. Instead, adjust the rug so that it follows the length of the room and is partially under the bed. This will create further angles and lines in the space that makes the room seem longer and bigger. Add a quilt or quilt to your king size bed. Choose a color or pattern that complements the color of your walls. For example, if your wall is cream colored, choose a dark brown or flowered rug. For a bright green wall, choose a deep blue or black duvet.

Put two king-size pillows at the top of your bed. Make sure pillowcases match or complement the shadow of your bedspread. Cover king size pillows with a wide range of accent pads. Accent pads give the bed a fuller, more complete look and do not have to match the bed. For a rustic or country look, choose a wide range of brown and cream-colored pillows. For a more contemporary king bed, choose black, white and red pillows. Add color to your wall with a creative painting or rug. Choose an image that remains in contact with your room theme but it does not deter as a focal point. If you feel the artist’s neighborhood, personalize your room with a self-painted mural. Even a self-painted set of lines or whirling circles can add a personal touch that is both artistic and appealing to viewers.
